Built in 1756, this building stands as the oldest school house in all of New Jersey. John Woolman, the world-renowned Quaker preacher and abolitionist taught at this traditional one-room school. The large hearth at the front of the room is in its original state, and visitors will get a true feel for local history at this site.
Built in 1725 by John Skene, a Quaker who emigrated from Scotland, this historic home was ravaged by fire in 1928 and is now restored in its original style. Surrounded by lovely, picturesque gardens, visitors have alot to explore throughout the halls and grounds of this historic plantation.
