Built in 1750, this house is the building inside which the Declaration of Independence was officially ratified and where it adopted the Great Seal in 1777. Its original structure remains mostly intact, and is now a state museum. Tours are provided free of charge for the first and second floors but not the cellar, which remains a topic of mystery as to its unusual layout and passageways.
